Your battery is the most expensive part of your build. Treat it well and those 21700 lithium cells will reward you with 1000+ charge cycles.

Five habits that double battery life

1. Store at ~50-60% charge. Leaving a battery full or empty for months degrades cells fastest.
2. Avoid full drains. Recharge after long rides rather than running the pack to empty.
3. Keep it dry and cool. Water and heat are the enemies. Wipe the case down, store indoors.
4. Charge with the supplied charger. Fast chargers from other brands can push voltage outside the safe window.
5. Check the BMS. Our batteries include smart BMS protection against over-charge, over-discharge and short circuits — if the pack ever cuts out, it's protecting itself.

Match voltage to your kit

48V kits need 48V batteries, 52V kits need 52V, and 72V kits need 72V. Bigger Ah ratings mean more range — our 72V packs go from 25Ah up to 50Ah.
